Download Trezor Suite

Get the official Trezor Suite application for desktop or mobile. Available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Install and Connect

Install the application and connect your Trezor device via USB cable. Follow the on-screen instructions to begin setup.

Create Your PIN

Set up a secure PIN to protect your device from unauthorized access. Your PIN should be:

  • Between 4-50 digits long
  • Not easily guessable (avoid 1234, birthdays, etc.)
  • Known only to you - never share it
  • Different from other PINs you use

Tip: The PIN is entered using a randomized number grid on your Trezor screen for added security.

Write Down Your Recovery Seed

Your device will display 12 or 24 words. This is your recovery seed - the ONLY way to restore your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.

⚠️ CRITICAL STEPS:

  1. Write words on the provided recovery card
  2. Double-check spelling and order
  3. Store in a secure, fireproof location
  4. Never take photos or store digitally
  5. Never share with anyone

After writing down your seed, your Trezor will ask you to verify a few random words to confirm you've recorded them correctly.

Start Using Your Trezor

Your wallet is now ready! Add accounts, receive cryptocurrency, and enjoy complete control over your digital assets.

All private keys remain on your device, never exposed to the computer or internet

Stay Safe: Recognize Scams

Trezor will NEVER:

  • Ask you to share your recovery seed via email, phone, or support chat
  • Send you unsolicited emails asking you to verify your wallet
  • Ask you to install third-party software to "fix" your device
  • Request remote access to your computer
  • Offer "customer support" via direct messages on social media

🚨 If someone asks for your recovery seed, it's a scam!

Only use the official Trezor website (trezor.io) and verify the URL carefully. Contact support only through official channels.
